The January 2014 City-wide Public Meeting in Response to the SSU Petition
At Council President Sally Clark’s direction, the Seattle Department of Planning and Development (DPD) is working on new legislation in response to SSU’s petition. As part of that process, DPD held a public meeting on January 14th,2014 to collect community input on Height and Scale of Buildings in Lowrise Zones. Hundreds of Seattle residents from neighborhoods throughout the city attended the meeting. Many spoke up about the consequences of the 2010 changes to the Land Use Code for Lowrise 3 neighborhoods.
We encourage everyone to send a written comment to DPD on proposed legislation by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you do send DPD a comment, you can send a copy to Seattle Speaks Up if you would like us to consider posting it on our website: email@example.com.
